Questions

Which schema types can I create?

100 schema.org types – Organization, LocalBusiness and its subtypes (Restaurant, Dentist, Hotel…), WebSite, BreadcrumbList, Article, BlogPosting, FAQPage, Product, Service, Event, JobPosting, Recipe, VideoObject, Course, SoftwareApplication, Person and many more. Each type asks only for the details that type needs.

Does every schema type create a rich result in Google?

No. Each type shows its Google status: "Google rich result" (can change how your result looks), "No rich result" (still helps search engines and AI understand the page) or "Retired by Google" – for example FAQ rich results stopped in May 2026 and HowTo in 2023.

How does the website scan work?

We open your home page and up to 25 other pages (from your sitemap and menu), read the JSON-LD, microdata and RDFa schema on each page, guess the type of business from the page text, and list the schema that is missing – with the reason and a button that fills the generator with details found on your site.

Where do I paste the code?

Inside the <head> or anywhere in the <body> of the page it describes. In WordPress use a header/footer code plugin or your SEO plugin's custom schema box. Then test the page in Google's Rich Results Test.

Is the business type always right?

It is a guess from words on your pages (for example "menu", "table booking" → restaurant). Check it and pick another type if it is wrong.
